On the morning of May 1, 32 local professionals gave of their valuable time to present at the PHHS biennial Career Day. Organized and sponsored by the PHHS PFA, each student chose three different career presentations to attend from a multitude of offerings. Students fromMr. Uhl's 4th period Advanced Topics in Computer Science class developed a computer program to determine student placements based on student requests.

Students were exposed to an insider’s perspective into careers in business, engineering, law, medicine, sales and marketing, and sports and entertainment, among others.
This was a great learning opportunity for our students and could not have taken place without the efforts of the PFA and the commitment of all of the local professional presenters. We would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Traub and Mrs. Michelis, the co-chairs of the career day committee, who were instrumental in finding speakers and organizing the event.
