Below is a letter from the Hills Valley Coalition inviting the community to a special program:
Dear PVRHSD Parents:
The Hills/Valley Community Coalition would like to invite you and your teen to a dynamic Parent/Teen education program Wednesday, April 3, 7 pm to be held at Pascack Hills High School. The evening program features keynote speaker Lauren Hersh, former Prosecutor, lawyer, speaker, gender justice activist, educator, writer, and parent. Lauren is the founder and National Director of World Without Exploitation and her talk on Growing Up OVERexposed: Helping Teens Navigate in a Hyper-Sexualized Digital World addresses issues important for both parents and teens.
Lauren believes in real and raw conversations about tough issues that ignite change and expose truths. Her talks are informative, engaging and fun. She will address concerns regarding gender messaging, hyper-sexualized teen and tween behavior, date rape culture, and navigating consent in an ever-changing digital world. Her program is thought provoking and will challenge us to be Unsilenced and Upstanders.
The doors will open at 6-7pm with a Mental Health Resource Fair preceding the program. We invite you to browse the resources, pick up literature and have your questions answered by the mental health professionals as well as HVC Members during the hour before the featured keynote.

It is through networking that we can help our teens and keep our community safe. It truly “takes a village to raise a child.” If you have any questions, please contact us.
