Congratulations to Ms. Heather Lutz for her acceptance into the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) Teacher Fellowship Program!  The purpose of the Museum Teacher Fellowship program at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) is to develop a national corps of skilled teachers who can serve as leaders in Holocaust education in their schools, communities, and professional organizations.

While participating as a Fellow, Ms. Lutz will be required to plan, create, and implement an Outreach Project for the 2018-2019 school year, which will will not only enhance the Literature of the Holocaust curriculum but also expand the walls of our classroom into the greater community, hopefully leaving indelible marks on our students' lives. The five-day Museum Teacher Fellowship Summer Institute will take place from July 9-13, 2018 in Washington, D.C, where she will have privileged access to resources and engage with museum staff, scholars, survivors, former Fellows, and other educators.
