On Tuesday, November 29th the Pascack Hills Chamber Choir performed at the NJSMA High School Choral Festival 2022 Festival hosted by Mountain Lakes High School. There were eight choirs performing from: Mountain Lakes High School, Newton High School, Ramsey High School, Bloomfield High School, Lyndhurst High School, and Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest. The clinicians were Dr. Brandon Williams, who worked with the Pascack Hills Chamber Choir, and Jessica Pomeroy. Each Choir performed their repertoire for each other while the clinicians provided live feedback on the pieces.

When Dr. Brandon Williams worked with the Pascack Hills Chamber Choir, he adjusted where students stood to create a clearer sound. He also adjusted the vowels the choir was singing to make a more uniform sound. Overall, the performance went very well, and the feedback was very helpful. Jessica Pomeroy also recorded feedback during our live performance. We listen to this feedback in class and use her notes along with Dr. Williams adjustments to create beautiful music.
