On Monday, May 22, 2023 student members of the Pascack Hills High School Asian Culture Club, Spanish Culture Club, and World Culture Club hosted “International Day” for the students and staff of PHHS to recognize the diverse cultures present in the PHHS community and around the world.

International Day was held in the courtyard / amphitheater outside of the cafeteria. A wide array of food from different countries were sold by each club, free food samples were provided by the community - international snacks donated by Wegmans, Mexican food samples were donated by El Azteca Mexican Restaurant, and Indian snacks were donated by the Mahale Family.

Cultural activities were also curated by the clubs. The many cultural activities available to try were: Taekwondo board breaking, henna designs, Asian instruments, origami, and games from Spain, China, and Italy. Fashion from around the world was on display and popular music from around the globe could also be heard.
