We had 14 boards and clocks set up for the students and they played matches (10 minutes in length for each player’s clock). The event took place in the PVHS library.

Students were competitive and chatted constantly about their ratings, openings, defenses, and experiences in online chess. It is re-gaining popularity amongst the students and we hope to expand to other schools and/or play with the senior citizens in the future.

  •  Regardless of immunization status of other family members, those who are COVID 19 positive should be isolated from others in the household, if possible, for the full 10 days
