Dear Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2022,

Graduation day is quickly approaching. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and partnership over the past four years. Our seniors and their families deserve nothing less than an amazing graduation on June 16. With that in mind, and to ensure all will go smoothly, please see the important information below.

Note: No senior will be allowed to participate in rehearsals or graduation if they have outstanding obligations (i.e. fines, missing textbooks, laptop, etc).

Tickets (Outdoors) - There is unlimited seating, no tickets are necessary if the ceremony is held outdoors as planned. Please note that we do not have reserved seating for graduation.

Tickets (Indoors) - Each graduate will be issued two tickets in the event that weather forces the ceremony to be held in the main gym. Each senior will receive two additional tickets for the air conditioned auditorium to watch the ceremony “live streamed” on the large screen. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for additional tickets as maximum capacity for the gym and auditorium are established by local fire officials and must be strictly adhered to in both indoor locations.

Remote Viewing - On the day of graduation, a link will be available on the PHHS Webpage for live viewing of our graduation ceremony.

General Parking - Please use the main PHHS lot for all general parking purposes. We encourage everyone to car pool as this is a huge event and parking is limited. All graduates should be dropped off and not park on campus.

Handicapped Parking - There are a limited number of handicapped parking in the upper campus adjacent to the tennis courts. To reserve a handicapped space, please have your graduate come to the main office. Graduates who receive a handicapped space will be issued parking passes during graduation practice.

Shuttle Bus from the Main PHHS Parking Lot - There will be a shuttle bus available from the main parking lot to the Akers Avenue entrance beginning at 5:15 PM. In addition, there will be limited golf cart service from the main lot for anyone in need of assistance navigating “The Hill.”

Graduation Rehearsals - Mandatory graduation rehearsals will be held on June 15 and 16 at 8:00 AM. All graduates should report to the auditorium for rehearsals. Any senior who misses a rehearsal without prior administrative approval will not be permitted to participate in our graduation ceremony.

Graduation Attire - Our graduation ceremony is a formal event and we ask that students do not wear blue jeans, shorts, sneakers or flip flops. We also ask that students wear flats or low heels as they will be walking up “The Hill” and on our turf field.

Graduation Timing - All graduates should report to the main gym by 5:45 on June 16. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 P.M.

Senior Class Trip - Our senior class whitewater rafting trip will take place on Monday, June 13. Mr. Killian will be sending out information next week regarding this trip.

Safe Graduation - It has been a long standing tradition that graduates attend our Safe Graduation event immediately following our graduation ceremony. Please see the attached flier for more details.
